Leisure RC Models has available a 50% scale Smith Miniplane. This is a short kit that includes a carbon fiber reinforced fiberglass cowl, formed and welded heavy duty landing gear, vacuum formed head rest, plans, material list and a cd with construction photos. There is no wood included and it is the for the experienced flyer and scratch builder. This plane has been succesfully flown and is a "solid" flyer.
